RS Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the RS platform. By accessing or using RS, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the RS mobile application and related services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be legally bound by them.

If you are using RS on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

RS reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Acceptable Use

Permitted Uses: You may use RS to organize and participate in group rides, share your location with ride members, communicate with other riders, track your ride history, and access community features.

Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, harass or abuse other members, transmit viruses or malicious code, or attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt any part of the RS application or its servers.

3. User Responsibilities

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify RS immediately at team@rsapp.site if you suspect unauthorized access.

Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to keep your profile information up to date.

Location Sharing: When you enable location sharing during a ride, you consent to your real-time GPS position being visible to other members of that ride group.

Emergency Features: The SOS alert and emergency contact features are supplementary safety tools only. Always contact official emergency services (911 or local equivalent) in life-threatening situations.

Third-Party Interactions: RS is not responsible for the conduct of other users. Any disputes between users must be resolved directly between the parties involved.

4. SMS Messaging Terms (A2P 10DLC Compliance)

By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive SMS text messages from RS for account verification and security purposes.

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your login and account activity.

Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan.

Opt-Out & Support: You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting "STOP" to the number sending the message. After you send "STOP," we will send a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. To rejoin, sign up again as you did the first time. For help, reply "HELP" or contact team@rsapp.site.

Carrier Liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Free Trial

RS offers a one-time 7-day free trial for new members who have not previously used a trial. The trial provides full access to RS premium features for seven (7) days from activation. No credit card or payment method is required to start the trial. The trial does not automatically convert to a paid subscription — when your trial ends, premium access stops unless you actively choose and complete a paid plan. Each account is limited to one free trial. Email/password accounts must verify their email address before starting a trial or subscribing.

Paid Plans

RS offers optional paid subscription plans (monthly and yearly) that unlock premium features. Paid subscriptions are processed securely through Stripe on a recurring basis at the price shown at checkout. By subscribing, you authorize RS and Stripe to charge your selected payment method for each billing period until you cancel. RS does not store your full credit card number; Stripe handles all payment data in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. You can view and manage your subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription in the app.

Lifetime Founder Membership (RSFOUNDER500)

The first 500 members worldwide who join RS during the launch period may qualify for Lifetime Founder membership at no cost. To claim Founder Status, enter promo code RSFOUNDER500 at Stripe checkout, or complete all profile requirements (avatar, bio, at least one photo, and at least one video) and claim Founder Status in the app. Lifetime Founder membership grants permanent access to all RS premium features, a gold Founding Member badge, and recognition as a founding member of the RS community. No credit card or payment method is required for qualifying founders who claim through the profile task path. Founder spots are limited to 500 worldwide, with a maximum of 100 founding members per country. Once all spots are claimed, the offer is no longer available. RS reserves the right to verify eligibility and revoke Founder Status obtained through fraud or abuse.

RS may offer free trial periods for premium memberships. If you do not cancel before the applicable trial period ends, your account will automatically convert to a paid recurring subscription. Special promotional codes, including the "RSFOUNDER500" Lifetime Founder membership, are valid only for eligible early users. Founder memberships are strictly non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and may not be combined with other offers. Lifetime Founder status is permanently tied to the original account and remains active for the lifespan of the RS platform.

Cancellation

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription (or the Membership section of the app). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until that date. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law. For refund requests, contact team@rsapp.site within 14 days of a charge.

Price Changes

RS reserves the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days notice. Continued use of a paid subscription after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

6. Intellectual Property

The RS name, logo, app design, and all original content created by RS are the exclusive property of RS and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

By posting content on RS, you grant RS a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.

You retain ownership of all content you create and post. You may delete your content at any time, which will revoke the license granted above.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

No Warranty: RS is provided as-is and as-available without warranties of any kind. RS does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Riding Risk: Motorcycling and group riding involve inherent risks. RS does not assume any liability for accidents, injuries, property damage, or death that may occur during rides organized through the Platform.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, RS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

Aggregate Cap: In no event shall RS's total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount you paid to RS in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

8. Termination

RS reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that RS believes violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, RS, or third parties.

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings screen. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

9. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of RS shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.

You agree to resolve disputes with RS on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
